I am Andrea Magaña de la parra "CALA"
I am a Visual Artist, passionate about painting who began from an early age. I have participated in more than 50 exhibitions, different events of international stature, my art is represented by Galleries in USA and Mexico. Also, I am member of ARTAC: Mexico´s National Artists Association affiliated to UNESCO.
About me

Cala has participated in more than 50 exhibitions in Mexico, England, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Peru, Qatar and the United States.
She began her passion for painting from an early age, her love for painting led her to know various techniques in a self-taught way and later she has been specializing these techniques with masters in painting and graphic arts.
Cuenta con dos exposiciones individuales y ha participado en mas de 50 exposiciones dentro de la República Mexicana y en el extranjero.
She has two solo exhibitions and has participated in more than 50 exhibitions within the Mexican Republic and abroad.
This path of art leads her to share her knowledge since 2013 and in 2014 she founded her school.
She has exhibited some of his works in various museums in Mexico such as the Museum of Modern Art of Toluca, Zanbatha Museum, Lerma, Torres Bicentenario Museum of Toluca, "Barro" Museum in Metepec
Her work has been exhibited in various forums such as the Toluca International Airport, in the Senate of the Mexican Republic, various museums and in various independent forums.
Also her work has been exhibited in Italy, England, Germany, Peru, the United States, Brazil, Qatar, Korea, Costa Rica, Argentina and Mexico. In 2021 she participated in the "Qatar International Art Festival" in Doha, Qatar; selected as one of the artists participating in the traveling exhibition "Mirada Latinoamericana Actual" in Brazil and her work also participated in the "28th International Art Festival" in Seoul Korea.
This year she was one of the artists representing Mexico in the "V Biennial of Contemporary Art of Argentina". She was chosen to be part of the select group chosen for the exhibition "The Footprint of Da Vinci" in Costa Rica. In the month of October his 2nd Individual Exhibition will take place within the framework of the Quimera Cultural Festival and prepares other great surprises for this same festival.
She is represented by the Centaur Gallery in Las Vegas Nevada and is a member of ARTAC, Asociación de Artistas Plásticos de México, A.C. Some of the techniques he uses are:

Altruistic Work: Muro de la Hermandad, Cala participated in painting the border wall between Mexico and the United States supporting the migrant cause.

Collective Art Exhibition: La Huella de Da Vinci, Cala's work was chosen as a result of this call where 167 works from 9 Latin American countries were received and 54 works were accepted. Organized by ACAV, CEEI and IAA Costa Rica.
